A great evening with our GPs providing teaching for local community pharmacists based around Eldene, Abbeymeads and Victoria Cross surgeries. Dr Arpit Srivastava and Dr Amit Srivastava taught on the early detection of cancer symptoms. Cancers detected early have much better chances of successful treatment and cure. Our pharmacy colleagues are often the trusted first port of call for patients and it was great to have this teaching opportunity thanks to funding from the Thames Valley Cancer Alliance.
