Please note that for the period 01 July 2023 – 18 October 2023 a total of 783 patient appointments were wasted.
This represents 206 hours of clinical time.
Please can I politely remind all patients that if they are unable to attend a planned medical appointment with Eldene Surgery that they contact us giving as much notice as possible so that we can utilise the appointment for another patient who needs it.
Missed appointments contribute to significant wasted resources for the NHS which all of us fund through our taxes and NI as well as depriving other patients of timely medical examination/intervention.
